Formation and application of conducting polymer based layers

PhD thesis supervisor: dr. Arūnas Ramanavičius (apply for recommendation)

Formation and application of conducting polymer based layers

During this doctoral project, electrically conducting polymer layers will be formed. During this doctoral project, immunosensors will be developed for the detection of various analytes, immobilization technologies for antibodies and other materials with various recognition properties will be applied, including conjugated polymers and electrically conductive polymers. Immunosensors will also be developed for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 virus proteins and antibodies against these proteins, in order to adapt these sensors to solve the problems of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The research will apply electrochemical, optical, quartz crystal micro-gravimetry and other research methods. The topic is very promising both from a scientific and technological perspective.
