Three FTMC Scientists Have Been Awarded State Orders for Their Merits to Lithuania and for Promoting Its Name Abroad

On the occasion of July 6th, President of the Republic of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda, awarded three FTMC scientists with state orders for their outstanding contributions to Lithuania and for promoting its name worldwide:
 
Gediminas Račiukaitis was awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of the Grand Duke of Lithuania Gediminas – physicist, PhD, a pioneer in the development and implementation of laser technologies in Lithuania, author of significant scientific achievements, and an active contributor to organizational, expert, and public activities. He is also a prominent figure in promoting Lithuania's name worldwide.

The Knight's Cross of the Order of the Grand Duke of Lithuania Gediminas was awarded to two FTMC scientists:
 
Gediminas Niaura – physicist, professor, academician, habilitated doctor – for world-class scientific work in the field of molecular structure and functionality, contributing to the development and advancement of cutting-edge technologies;

Vidmantas Remeikis – physicist, professor, habilitated doctor – for high-level, internationally significant research in applied nuclear and reactor physics, radiation ecology, and environmental science.
