VTT Vice President and VTT MIKES Director to Visit FTMC

On 11 November, FTMC will welcome Dr Martti Heinonen, Vice President of the Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT) and Director of VTT MIKES, Finland’s national metrology institute.

During the visit, a range of research and technological areas will be presented, including positioning, navigation and timing (PNT), photonics and optoelectronic technologies, 6G communications, quantum technologies, electrochemical energy storage, defence technologies and reference materials. The presentations will also explore the links between these fields and potential opportunities for future collaboration.

All FTMC staff are invited to attend the meeting:
