Technology Transfer Without Borders: From Science to Business

International Practical Conference “Tech Transfer Unlocked: Bridging Ideas across the Region and the UK” aims to promote technology transfer, academic entrepreneurship, and innovation development between the United Kingdom, the Baltic States, Finland, and Ukraine.

The event is part of Science Week in Lithuania 2025 (re) SEARCH, organised by the Research Council of Lithuania in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, FTMC, the British Embassy in Vilnius, and the Baltic States TTO Network.

The conference will feature renowned experts from the United Kingdom, Lithuania, and other international institutions. It will focus on practical knowledge and experience, including:

• Early-stage research project funding and investment

• Academic entrepreneurship and research commercialisation strategies

• Creation and growth of spinout companies

• Technology demonstrations

The programme will include interactive sessions and expert-led practical workshops, addressing real-world challenges and opportunities for transforming scientific research into market-ready products. The event will also provide opportunities to build international connections, strengthen institutional collaboration, and develop strategies to enhance the regional innovation ecosystem.
