We invite you to a seminar on the Universe and Dark Energy
Speaker: Dr Agnė Semenaitė, Swinburne University of Technology (Melbourne, Australia) Seminar title:New insights into the Universe with the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument Date and time: 11 September, 11:00 Location: D401, Saulėtekio al. 3, Vilnius
We invite you to a seminar presenting the latest results from the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) galaxy survey – the largest map of the Universe created so far and intriguing insights into dark energy beyond the standard model. The seminar will cover how galaxy maps can be used to measure the properties of the Universe and will also discuss what we can learn by combining DESI data with other photometric surveys that measure galaxy shapes.
All those interested in astronomy and scientific innovations are welcome to attend!
