Join the Seminar “Single-Electron Quantum Technologies”

FTMC, together with the Faculty of Physics of Vilnius University, invites you to a public seminar Single-Electron Quantum Technologies, which will take place on October 2, 2025 (Thursday) at 14:00 at NFTMC (Saulėtekio al. 3, Vilnius), D401.

Speaker: Prof. Vyacheslavs Kashcheyevs (University of Latvia).

Why Attend?

  • How can the charge and spin of single electrons be harnessed for more sensitive measurements, improved metrology, or even quantum computation? How do nanoelectronic chips with integrated on-demand sources, interferometers and detectors achieve picosecond-scale time resolution and intrinsic metrological traceability?
  • In this seminar, Prof. Kashcheyevs will present the latest ideas in single-electron quantum optics, showcase the technological opportunities of this field, and discuss how such systems are developed and tested. This is an excellent opportunity not only to learn about the newest research but also to ask questions directly to an expert.

The event is open to everyone – we warmly invite you to attend!
