wo scientist from the Centre for Physical Science and technology Žilvinas Kancleris and Rimantas Simniškis have been awarded the 2016 Scientific Achievement Award of the NATO Science and Technology Organization (STO), the largest NATO organization for defence and security. They participated in the project launched by System Concept and Integration Panel SCI-250 Task Group on “Radio Frequency Directed Energy Weapons in Tactical Scenarios”. The Scientific Achievement Award have been presented to SCI-250 in recognition and appreciation of the outstanding work and significant contribution to the NATO defence and security.
