On 7 February, representatives from the Turkish Embassy in Lithuania and the Turkish-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce visited FTMC.
During a constructive meeting, the Director of the Center, Prof. Dr Ramūnas Skaudžius, presented to the guests the advanced research in physics, chemistry and materials engineering being developed by our scientists. The opportunities for partnership between Lithuanian and Turkish companies in the fields of high technology and innovation were also discussed.
There were also talks on how to strengthen links between academia and business for mutual growth.
After the discussion, Dr Karolis Stašys, Head of the FTMC Innovation and Technology Office, and Prof. Dr habil. Saulius Balevičius, a researcher at the FTMC Department of Functional Materials and Electronics, gave a tour of some of the technologies being developed at the Center.
