On 29 January, we welcomed diplomats from Croatia, Estonia, Ireland, Norway and Poland, as well as representatives from the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Lithuanian Ministry of Economy and Innovation and the World Health Organisation.

During a constructive and insightful meeting, FTMC Director Prof. Dr Ramūnas Skaudžius and his team showcased FTMC’s activities, scientific achievements, and the extensive opportunities for international cooperation in both academia and business.

As a proof of this, our scientists presented relevant and successful research in their laboratories: Dr Wanessa Melo, an expert from the Department of Functional Materials and Electronics, talked about the activities of the Bioelectrics Laboratory, experiments with bacteria, yeast, algae and other objects; Dr Paulius Ragulis, a researcher from the Department of Physical Technologies, introduced the Microwave Laboratory and the research carried out in it.

We strongly appreciate the constructive conversations and the new connections that have been established, which we believe can lead to significant projects.
